Two things, Mich: (1) I like your choice of color arrangement here; and (2) it gives the appearnace of there being light behind her, as if the darkness into which she peers is inside a box or some deep hole into which she peers.....
Jim, to be honest, I think she was actually trying to get the cats to chase the light dot on the floor; the cats are such suckers for that old trick. But I like where you were going with your explanation. I'm telling you, my friend, you should be writing a book.

spider hunting/spotting?
Nice! Is it watercolor? I love the seeing how all the different shades shape the picture.
Thank you for your kind comment on my blog, and for your prayers - they are much appreciated. I love seeing your artwork here - it's beautiful.
Wayne - Oooo, I like that title. :)
Annie - It is watercolour; a little experiment using yellow and black.
Karen - You're very welcome. And thank you so much. :)
Daisy, very nice. Hmmmm....the caption......

Thanks, JBR. :) Can you think of a caption?

I am not usually good with captions. :) ♥
Thank you for the link to the JT song...it led me to some great interview clips, and even to his son, Ben. Good links!
My pleasure, Karen. Now I'm intrigued by the interviews and the son you mentioned; gonna go dig around.
